Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that dermatological surgeon moves hair follicles from a part of the body to a bald or balding part of the body. You usually have the procedure in the doctor’s office. Your doctor will choose one of two methods for the transplant:
Follicular unit transplant (FUT) is the traditional hair restoration method which involves extracting a linear strip of tissue from the back of the head. Then the individual grafts remove from this strip without being damaged and then transplant to the recipient areas
Follicular Isolation Technique (FIT) is one of the modern techniques used in hair replacement surgery. Unlike tradition strip harvesting, FIT does not create a linear scar on the back of the scalp. The surgeon removes single follicular units from the patient’s scalp with the greatest care and the use of precision instruments, then prepared for placement.
